I started work on the original FISH painting in 2010 and the work featured prominently in my 2010 NYC show at New York Vintners. The idea for the painting came about while I was working on the other paintings for the same show and a desire to create a work that included all the colors found within those paintings. I thought a fish would be a great way to do this!

I painted on a raw canvas background, which is something I have done from time to time over the years. The painting sold and is now happily on the wall of a home in Washington DC.
