BLEND INFORMATION
56% cabernet sauvignon, 33%Cabernet Franc, 11% Merlot

IN THE VINEYARD
Training method 5-wire vertical trellis
Yeild: Average of 38 hl/Ha and 6.3 tons/Ha
Age of vines :Cabernet Sauvignon 10 years, Cabernet Franc and Merlot 12 years

IN THE CELLAR
9-10 days in closed tanks, mixed by pumping over, pressed in horizontal basket press(ca) and pneumatic press (c.f. and me). On my the top 10 barrels in the cellar were selected for this wine. Maturation took place +/- 24 months in small barrels Nd bottles with only minimal pre-bottling,filtrstion,sediment can be expected.

Barrel profile: 11% 1st fill, 11% 2nd fill, 22% 3rd fill and balance 4th fill, 100% French oak.
Bottling: 18 December 2013 at Mooiplaas
