Jason Oliva Wine and Art Event 2019: Tokyo, Japan

For the second year in a row I was the guest of honor for the Jason Oliva Wine and Art event held in Japan during February of 2019. Jason Oliva [Wine] importer Hideyuki was the host and over 60 people attended in the sky of the City Tower Musashikosugi (behind Godzilla in the above photo)what a view. 2019 has been an exciting time for both Jason Oliva wine and my art in Japan. The Jason Oliva Wine Moose 2010 vintage is available and selling in Tokyo for 150,000 Yen per bottle and my visit coincided with the opening of the first Ralph Lauren Kids Store in Seibu which will feature my art work (more on my involvement with Ralph Lauren in a separate post) In addition Louis Roos our winemaker from Mooiplaas Estate was attending Foodex Japan and was able to join us and share all of his current release wines alongside the first bottles of Jason Oliva Octopus 2010 that will hopefully arrive in Japan late 2019

It was amazing to see so many familiar faces and meet so many new people who have become Jason Oliva art and wine collectors in Japan. I am looking forward to the event growing next year.
