When I lived in NYC and started painting portraits in 2001 it involved a photo shoot or a trip to Bubby’s for some food, drinks and a trip to their basement photo-booth because it was a good time and provided a great image for a portrait. Since living abroad the portraits have continued and people have been supplying me with their own photographic material to work with. You can read about the process and different offerings in detail here. We will be in the states for a limited time this summer for our NYC art show in September so there is a rare opportunity to commission a portrait old school style, either in person or back at Bubby’s! Feel free to contact me with any thoughts, questions or inquiries.
