One Piece by Eiichiro Oda is one of my all time favorite Japanese Manga. It was the Gum Gum Devil Fruit that gave the main Character Luffy D. Monkey his powers that started the entire pirate adventure back in July of 1997 and it still continues to this day. I couldn’t think of a better subject for a painting and tribute to one of the most amazing creators working today.
