I’m Jason Oliva, a painter. I’ve lived and worked as a full-time painter in New York for over 25 years, and today I paint from my home studio in NYC / East Hampton.

My work concentrates on the singular: an animal, a flower, a building, an object, with the noise of a detailed background removed. I like to leave room for the viewer.

This site collects my paintings, hand-painted limited edition works on paper (each one individually painted, numbered and signed on Arches paper), sculpture, silver and gold jewelry, and Jason Oliva Wine, the private-label collaboration with South African winemaker Dirk Roos that I founded in 2010. Our current release is Lion 2020.

In 2015, astronaut Scott Kelly and cosmonaut Mikhail Kornienko brought my astronaut t-shirt aboard the International Space Station, and Ralph Lauren chose eight of my images for Ralph Lauren Kids stores around the world.
